There is nothing that I like more than dining at a fancy restaurant, but there is nothing that I don?t like more than the ritual of ordering and paying for your food.
Usually, when I have made my selection, it usually takes the wait-person a long time before he or she finally takes my order. Then, after I have eaten, I usually pay with a credit card, which involves the wait-person sticking it in some fancy fold up thing. Here my credit card sticks out at the end like a sign to the staff and customers that says: ?steal me?.
The EPOS-lite is simplifying the process as each table comes with a digital menu. When selections are made, the customer gets to see exactly what he or she has picked, and it is also displayed to the chef.
Once the meal is finished, and it is time to pay, the EPOS-lite can handle that as well. All the user needs to do is enter in their payment information, and the meal is paid in full. Hopefully, the EPOS-lite can take care of the tip, because who really wants to leave money on the table these days?
It sounds like the EPOS-lite is also low maintenance, as the restaurant will not have to worry about changing the batteries in these headsets. Instead, the devices will charge by laying them on the tabletop.
Unfortunately, this device is still a concept, so there is no word when every restaurant will have an EPOS-lite. They certainly could use them.

The word is the expected launch of the Meizu M8 will be somewhere around the end of the year, probably towards the end of December.
Apparently the Taiwan based Geek IT Store will be launching this so called ?iPhone Killer? or should that be ?iPhone rip-off? beginning in the Chinese markets and followed by the Indian market.

The latest rumour is that Chine Mobile may be offering Android based mobile phones, well that?s the word coming from industry sources in Taiwan, and the facts do suggest that this is possible in the future.
Firstly, China Mobile is the only China-based mobile operator that is a member of Google?s Open Handset Alliance. Secondly, In September 2007, China Mobile and Google, Marvell, China-based software developer Borqs International formed a technology alliance to promote a Linux-based open mobile system (OMS), integrating mobile applications specifically for the China market.
Sources indicate that Chine Mobile originally planned to offer a Google phone by the end of this year along with OMS apps developed by Borgs; however it is more than likely that Chine mobile will now postpone any launch of the Google phone until Q2 of 09.

If you’ve been missing your Barbie days, with all of her tiny clothing and accessories you’ll love this USB drive. It’s disguised in the form of a tiny toy purse, although parents with girls that enjoy Barbies might run into some issues. Specifically with the girl stealing your USB drive all the time, which is no good when you need that for work. Modeling the handbag is the USB Super Kid Flash Drive, so if you purchase them both you’ve got childish toys to keep you entertained at work.
If you want the Super Kid, he comes in three different colors green, blue and yellow. For an 8GB drive it will cost you $38. I just don’t advise doing voices and making the thing talk though, coworkers will definitely think you’re insane. Not that a little man and tiny purse on your desk won’t already make them think you’re nuts. The USB purse comes in several different colors, you can pick it up in red, blue, green, yellow and of course pink. For an 8GB drive it will cost you $36 from Brando.

The word is that Carphone Warehouse and Vodafone are in discussions with a view to Vodafone returning to Carphone Warehouse as a supplier, with talk of post-pay contracts and even more specifically mobile broadband.
Vodafone is on the lookout for consumer connections and has even been assessing their options as the exclusive tie up with Phones 4u. A firm deal between Vodafone and Carphone warehouse is far from secure at present and could even collapse.
Vodafone wants to increase their distribution lines to catch up with the likes of O2, and is apparently to announce a new service before Christmas, which sources say is ?extremely exciting.?

Although there has been no official word from SanDisk, it appears their 16GB MicroSD cards are beginning to pop up for sale all over the place on the net.
Various internet retailers are offering the 16GB MicroSD card from SanDisk and all at varying prices I might add.

Price range for the 16GB MicroSD is quite wide and runs from $80.00 all the way up to a staggering $220.00, however once the 16GB MicroSD becomes more freely available the prices should stabilise at an affordable tag.
Whatever you end up paying it will be nice to slip one of these microSD cards into your device and experience an Apple iPhone?s worth of flash storage.
