With the amount of traveling we do these days as well as the huge number of functions crammed into most devices released in recent memory, it goes without saying that battery life is of utmost importance. All that running around and staying connected ain’t something we all like either, as the office requires us to be contactable at (nearly) all times. With that in mind, it is no surprise to run out of juice sooner than we expect, and it isn’t always as convenient as your home where a power outlet is within reach 24/7. What happens when you’re on the road and desperately need to squeeze out a few more minutes’ worth of talk time on your phone? Well, apart from carrying ever larger and heavier battery packs, why not settle for something green instead – with the Eclipse Solar Gear in mind?
The original patented Eclipse Solar Gear product line is perfect for such situations, since you can get sunlight virtually everywhere unless your line of work involves working in coal mines all day long. With solar panels lining up the outside of these handsome looking bags, they are able to trickle charge the batteries of a wide range of electronics such as cell phones, smartphones, hand-held GPS units, portable handheld consoles, portable media players and MP3 players courtesy of a convenient solar charging solution. In essence, anything that you are able to connect into your vehicle’s 12V auto adapter is fully compatible with the trickle charge method found in the Eclipse Solar Gear line.
The thin film flexible solar panel used was specially designed to withstand the environment, offering a long lasting source of personal solar energy for your gadgets. You can pick the Fusion Messenger Bags in gray, black, and natural heavy canvas with leather trim, and they all come with a limited lifetime warranty for materials and workmanship.

Nokia is planning on entering the Japanese market during 2009 and strengthen its position in Japan whit a two pronged assault. Firstly Nokia intend to launch their own wireless mobile phone network in Japan and then push their luxurious Vertu brand on their own network to the Japanese rich.
The plan is for Nokia to lease network time and bandwidth from Japan?s wireless NTT DoCoMo and so launch the Nokia wireless network under the MVNO model, which is leasing wholesale network time from the established carriers.
The Nokia MVNO will be targeted at the wealthy Japanese elite who can easily afford $30k for a mobile phone.

The Research In Motion BlackBerry Storm is apparently moving out of stores like wildfire with Verizon Wireless as every BlackBerry fan wants that SurePress touch-screen, and with the Verizon BlackBerry Storm price of $199.00, Verizon is having a hard time keeping up with demand.
Now what if the BlackBerry Storm were available for only $99.00, now wouldn?t make the BlackBerry Storm shift off shelves like grease on glass?

Well apparently online retailer letstalk.com is offering the Verizon BlackBerry Storm for just $99.00 on a 2 year agreement with a $69.99 plan. So will Verizon be able to keep up with supplies once eager Storm fans get word of this?

Maybe you are not a BlackBerry Storm fan but are looking for a touch-screen handset on Verizon; maybe you?d like the Samsung Omnia on Verizon?
Well it appears that the Samsung Omnia is making an appearance with Verizon Wireless. The Samsung Omina was originally due with Verizon on the 15th of November, but it wasn?t expected to be hitting Verizon stores quite so soon after.
But the word is the Samsung Omnia will be in stores soon and with a $70.00 rebate attached, although the actual date and pricing details are still unknown and unofficial.

Have you been holding out purchasing a Google Android T-Mobile G1 handset because you didn?t want one in brown or black, but have been waiting for the white to hit?
If so your wait is getting shorter as apparently some T-Mobile stores now have the T-Mobile G1 available in white although at this time we have no idea on how large the stocks are or even if it is just selected stores or more widespread.
So if you?ve been hanging on for the white version G1, now may be a good time to check out your local T-Mobile retail store. Who knows, you may just be one of the lucky ones.

According to a press release Apple have allowed an application for the Apple iPhone called BdEmailer into the Apple iTunes App Store, however the press release claims the app is “the first wide email iPhone app that supports client SMTP.”
This means that BdEmailer for the iPhone duplicates the exact function of Apple?s own email app on the iPhone. Now this is somewhat of a big deal as Apple has so far put up red flags to any application that duplicates the iPhones functionality and usually gets turned down.
Apple has already disallowed applications such as Podcaster and MailWrangler yet BdEmailer slips nicely through the selection process. Could this mean Apple have changed policy on duplicated functionality? Probably not, it?s more likely a question of getting lazy when approving, so we will probably be reporting the removal of BdEmailer quite soon.

Trossen Robotics will be making available its new MechRC Humanoid Robot to the masses in the US, and parents can breath easy since this Christmas present won’t break the $1,000 barrier in terms of pricing. That doesn’t mean it is affordable for everyone though, since it is still pretty pricey at $599.99 – definitely not an impulse purchase considering how everyone else is tightening their wallets to weather the current global economic meltdown.
High torque metal gear servos, LiPo batteries for longer run times, a fluid 3D visual software programming interface for easy custom motions, and a remote control unit are included. Everything you need to have you own walking robot is included in this ready-to-walk kit! With over a hundred pre-installed motions and sounds you can get this robot throwing some dance floor shapes or some killer fighting moves straight from the box.
Kids will definitely love this, but it remains to be seen whether this $599.99 device is able to offer as engaging an experience compared to a cheaper games console.
