Well I knew when this one hit it was going to be costly, but I didn?t think LG would actually price it out of the average persons pocket range.
It seems cutting edge technology is only destined for the well off as LG has announced the price of the LG GD910 3G capable touch watch phone they showed back at CES 2009.
And so if you fancy having the LG GD9100 sitting on your wrist it will cost you a wallet shrinking £1000, so will probably be out of reach for most. However, there is a rumour that Orange may subsidise to the tune of £500 on a 2 year contract at £40 per month.

So, who has the cheapest mobile phone deal in the UK this week? Well according to Virgin Mobile UK they do, and they?ve been out advertising it to great extent.
The Virgin Mobile UK best deal is £8.50 per month, which does sound real cheap doesn?t it. For that £8.50 you gain 100 texts and 100 minutes plus the choice of a Samsung G600, Nokia 3120 or an LG KC550 handset.
So, just how long will Virgin Mobile UK hold onto the cheapest deal crown, well just until some other carrier decided they want a piece of the action and begins a cheap deal war which is good stuff for the potential customer.

The word is Apple may be bringing their Apple iPhone 3G to Verizon Wireless according to a rumour over at 9to5mac, complete with CDMA innards to fit Verizon?s network.
Apparently the rumour emanates from a Verizon insider who is close to Verizon?s corporate deals concerning Apple and the Apple iPhone.
If this rumour is true then it looks like AT&T will be losing their exclusivity with the Apple iPhone and will open up the CDMA network for penetration by the Apple iPhone 3G, and may well signal the release of the Apple iPhone to other GSM networks such as T-Mobile USA.

Most like to receive a mobile phone with some extra goodies inside, and Alltel has done just that with the Samsung Delve mobile phone.
Alltel is offering a 2GB micoSD card for the Samsung Delve that includes the entire Mission Impossible trilogy preinstalled and comes with every purchase of the Samsung Delve handset.
The way it works is when you purchase a Samsung Delve you are required to mail in a redemption form and 4 to 6 weeks later you will receive the Mission Impossible trilogy microSD card. This offer was made possible via a deal struck between Samsung and Paramount Pictures.
