Intel's Z5xx series of Atom processors hits 2GHz

by admin on March 20, 2009

Intel has just told us how his great series Z5xx Atom chips in flavors ranging from 1.1 to 1.86 GHz, and the way they need only a meager 2,2 Watt or less power. They were not good enough, apparently, because there are two new members into the ranks. The first is the Z550, with a clock frequency of 2 GHz, with less than 2.4 watts. Even the most frugal Z515, with a dynamic clock frequency between 800 MHz and 1.33GHz to your needs, if you play or survivor’s pension clock solitarie repetitions. These chips also appear on mobile phones and MIDs, but we should not be surprised if Sony has a (slightly) faster packing a P VAIO Z550 – and refuses to import U.S.!
