Music orientated Samsung M2710 and M2310 handsets

by Techno Witch on March 31, 2009

Two so far unannounced Samsung mobile phones have been leaked by Celular Café which seems to resemble that of a slimmed down M7610 Beat DISC; these two new mobile handsets are the Samsung M2710 and M2310 and look to be all about the music.

The Samsung M2710 is a slider with a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, memory card slot and a must for all music orientated mobile phones, a 3.5mm jack accelerometer, and FM radio.

The Samsung M2310 adopts the flip form factor and is EDGE connectivity, some unknown camera, FM radio, Bluetooth, memory card slot, and media control buttons on its front panel. Both handsets are an addition to the Beat range and headed for Brazil but no pricing is available.

The Micro Slim Power Inverter turns a vehicle?s 12 volt DC power into household 115 volt AC power which makes it ideal for mobile phones.

Spec wise, the Micro Slim Power Inverter has a maximum continuous power of 100 Watts, output 115 volts, input 13.8 volts, modified wave form, powers up to 0.87 amps, and features low battery shutdown to prevent battery drain, LED indicator, single AC and USB outlet powers, and is ideal for mobile phones, PDAs, MP3, laptops and digital cameras.

The Black and Decker or Vector Micro Slim Power Inverter comes complete with a one year warranty and you get 2 of each inverters, 12 volt DC vehicle accessory adaptors, detachable 2 prong adapter cords, airplane adaptors and a protective carry case, and all for $24.99 via Woot.

It’s March, which means that there is some sort of madness involving college basketball. There’s a small nagging part of me that says I should care, but when it comes to basketball, I just don’t. It would seem that Activision’s marketing team is ?on the ball? when it comes to the latest Guitar Hero: Metallica ad. Perhaps you’ll recognize a few of the old guys in the above clip.

I’m from Indiana (and no, I don’t know why we’re called Hoosiers either) so I immediately recognized the fake band’s frontman as being Bobby Knight. I thought having him throw the drum kit was a nice touch. The other band members are Roy Williams, Rick Pitino and Mike “Coach K” Krzyzewski.

fire-breathing-baby-robot

I’m of two minds when I ponder exactly what will bring about the destruction of mankind. The way I see it, it’s going to either be zombies or robots that take us down. It’s just a matter of which one gets there first. Today it would seem that the robot camp has taken a leap forward in the race to destroy mankind. After all, even zombies would would shake with fear (provided that they can actually fear something) at the sight of a 23-foot tall fire-breathing aluminum baby robot.

Apparently artist Kenji Yanobe thought it would be great fun to add this to an art project which turned an entire neighborhood into an alien robot-themed wonderland for a weekend. Oh great, you’re giving them an entire neighborhood. Sure, that sounds safe.
