SAN FRANCISCO – What is Google Gmail in your browser classical five years ago, it is expected, again with a new mobile version of the Web-based e-mail service.

Vic Gundotra, the Google-Mobile and development efforts, demonstrated the web-application “engineering prototype” Friday in an interview with the stage in the Web 2.0 Expo. Google offers Gmail applications natively on the BlackBerry and Android phones, but the company clearly has high hopes for a web-based too.

Setting up a web interface of Google achieving the phones Gundotra said that most demanding mobile browsers and Internet connection is better. “Imagine, if you build applications that worked in all these phones,” said Gundotra.

As he was in a demonstration in February, showed a Gundotra on an iPhone and a phone operating system Google Android – the HTC seems Magic.
