Having around a weather station isn’t entirely necessary. After all, you could just hop online to find out the weather forecast for the day. Making weather stations just another gadget to collect dust. So looking for a new angle, one company decided to come out with a weather station covered in Swarvoski Crystals. It does all the usual weather oriented tasks, but makes weather just a touch more shiny.
Just from the photo the design does look a little cheesy, but if you adore all that glitters then you probably appreciate the look. The weather station can tell you the time or by just waving your hand you can view the indoor/outdoor temperature. On the side in crystal form it lets you know the forecast for the day. It does so by showing the symbols instead of spelling it out. The clock is an atomic clock, so very precise and will automatically update for daylight savings time. It isn’t out just yet, but once it is it’ll cost you $139.

Convergence devices are cool in their own right since they allow you to do more with just a single device, saving you money as well as space in the process. The Trispecs is one of such devices, masquerading as a standard pair of fashionable sunglasses while doubling as a Bluetooth headset and earphones without anyone else knowing the better. There are three buttons located along the arms of the shades that allow you to control your MP3 player as well as phone functions, making them look slightly more bulky than usual although that ought to be fine since many fashion sunglasses do feature outrageously huge arms from time to time. The retractable headphones also feature noise cancellation technology courtesy of the boffins at STEP Labs, while their STEPvoice software provides voice-recognition to further enhance the performance of the Trispecs. Depending on your choice of Trispecs, it will retail anywhere from $199 to $224, and will be available in black, white, red, blue, gold and silver colors.

Obviously gaining the HTC Magic simply isn?t enough for Italy?s TIM as they have now also added the Nokia N97 to their portfolio according to BGR.
One small problem is the price tag as far as we can see, as the HTC Magic will be offered at ?449 whereas TIM will be offering the Nokia N97 for ?599, which is some ?150 difference in anyone?s calculation.

So given the price difference maybe the HTC Magic will simply out do the Nokia N97 purely on budget reasons, that is unless the hard core Nokia fan base grabs them all up.

Samsung?s first Android platform smartphone is becoming a reality and the guys over at engadget mobile have the low down.
Apparently the Samsung I7500 is to be the first Sammy Android and will be launching “in major European countries from June.”
Spec wise the Samsung I7500 Android is quad-band GSM, tri-band 7.2Mbps HSDPA, 3.0 inch AMOLED touch screen, 5 megapixel camera with Power LED, GPS, WiFi, 8GB storage, 3.5mm jack, and microSD expansion up to 32GB.
The Samsung I7500 will be on bands 900/1700/2100MHz, and that 1700MHz could well point to the Samsung I7500 going with T-Mobile USA.

Well apparently there just may be according to a post over on wmpoweruser. Apparently they are reporting that the founder and chief exec of Skyhook Wireless who are a clearinghouse that is used by the Apple iPhone, seems to have dropped a hint that there is to be a Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 on its way.
Now obviously as the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 was a success it?s not too much of a surprise that Sony Ericsson would follow with an Xperia X2 sooner or later.
But so far there?s been no word, so when the Skyhook exec happens to mention they lost the contract to power the Windows Mobile base Xperia X2?s location based platform to Google that comes a good confirmation that Sony Ericsson is indeed planning an X2 for the future.
