According to the senior manager in the international business team of Com2uS, Joony Koo, the speed bump provided by the new iPhone 3G S will benefit developers working on online games reports pocketgamer.

Koo say it is good to hear that the iPhone 3G S is faster as a faster device always benefits games performance.

The speed increase is an important point for developers and they will be happy to gain a faster device and that there is no additional work to do to cover the iPhone 3G S. Com2uS is gearing up to offer a series of online multiplayer games for the iPhone.

by Techno Witch on June 9, 2009

Computex 2009 is done and dusted in Taipei and from the show one tiny nugget that emerged is the Invetec IAC Android platform mobile phone.

The Invertac IAC is powered by Freescale?s ARM Cortex A8 1HGz multimedia chip and Freescale call it a ?smartbook.?

Whatever they call it the LAC features a 4 inch display and a slide out QWERTY keyboard, runs Android, and the same chip allows 7250p video on a Pegatron netbook. We have a video below for your viewing pleasure so check it out below.

Yesterday was the announcement of the all new Apple iPhone 3GS and its features, well now you can see an in-depth video tour to give you a better insight of what will be coming your way upon June 19 release.

After watching this video provided below it has given us a better look of what we can expect and must admit we are very impressed indeed, the way the new 3MP camera works, the awesome video recording with its added benefits of video editing, these are just a couple of things that impress us. The specifications seem impressive but the main features are better.

We definitely love the voice control, all you need to do is hit the centre menu button and then say what you want, and it can call people, play songs and so much more. Please watch the video below because it shows you so much more. Please do post your comments below

Palm Pre Launch Sales Top out at 100k

by Techno Witch on June 9, 2009

RBC Capital Markets, ABI and Piper Jaffray analysts place initial sales of the Palm Pre between 50000 and 100000 handsets reports computerworld.

Now between 50k and 100k doesn?t really compare with the likes of the iPhone sales when it launched, but one has to wonder if Palm and Sprint?s choice to limit supply had anything to do with it.

The real test of just how well the Palm Pre will come in the long term and if it can withstand the opposition now there is a new iPhone 3G S on its way, and if there is actually demand for their supply.

The Sony Ericsson TM717 mobile handset has been spotted on its way through the FCC by engadget mobile, and is apparently headed for T-Mobile USA.

The word is though the Sony Ericsson TM717 is virtually the same as the T707 model and packs the same clamshell form factor along with the same 3.2 megapixel camera.

So there really isn?t a great deal of difference as far a s they can tell, and as usual this early on the release date for the Sony Ericsson TM717 along with any word on pricing is unavailable .

How does iPhone 3G S compare with iPhone 3G?

by Techno Witch on June 9, 2009

Obviously there is going to be a comparison between what the iPhone 3G offers and what the new iPhone 3G S has to offer, so the guys over at engadget mobile have come up with a comparison list.

They admit they don?t have all the answers yet as Apple is being somewhat quiet on processor specifications for the iPhone 3G S.

How does iPhone 3G S compare with iPhone 3G?

Anyway everyone really wants to know what they are going to get for the extra cash layout right? So check out the image above so see how they measure up.

Apparently according to engadget mobile while at WWDC 2009, the Symbian Foundation was thring to woo iphone developers by offering such things as coffee and food and a ?hackathon,? and prizes.

Also to entice, the Symbian Foundation offered a free Nokia 5800 mobile phone to attendees, all in the hopes of enticing developers away from the Apple App Store in favour of the Ovi Store.

One thinks it will take a little more than that even if the Symbian Foundation does bring their rodo-duckie mascot into play. Ovi Store look out, beer drinking applications are heading your way.
