Lenovo K800 and Xolo X900 are the first models of smartphones equipped with Intel processor, which have just hit the shelves in China and India.
Xolo X900, created in partnership between Intel and the Indian mobile operator Lava, is a smartphone with 4.3 inch screen and Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, run by an x86 processor from Intel Atom Z2460 family.
Atom Z2460 consists of a single-core 1.6 GHz processor with HyperThreading support, GPU PowerVR SGX580 at 400 MHz and dual-channel memory controller compatible with LPDDR2 chips. The RAM totals 1 GB and the internal storage reaches 16 GB.

Sony enters the fight of the Android-based media players, and its new weapon, named Walkman Z, is quite a remarkable device.
The Sony NWZ-Z1050 has as main features a 4.3-inch touchscreen with 800 x 480-pixel resolution, is running the 2.3.4 version of the Android operating system, 16 GB internal memory and a handful of technologies designed to provide the highest audio experience. The 1 GHz Tegra 2 processor along with the 1 GB RAM, ensures the fact that most applications in Android Market will run smoothly.

If until now you did not have a good reason to buy a Galaxy Note, now producers give you one – the smartphone with 5.3-inch display is available in a pink version. Announced in Korea currently, the pink version (more exactly, Berry Pink) comes with a matching pen and a pouch in the same color.
Despite some voices in the market who did not seem too optimistic about the success of a hybrid like Note, Samsung recently announced it has delivered over 5 million units.

Garmin-Asus today announced the Garmin-Asus nüvifone A50, a touchscreen Android-powered smartphone with multiple location technologies and apps. It includes Garmin navigation with turn-by-turn, voice prompted directions for use in a car or while walking. Location features are designed into virtually every function including email, text messaging, and photos. The A50 has a 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen display, QWERTY touchscreen, 3 megapixel camera, 4GB internal storage, an expandable microSD card slot, and accelerometer. It is now official and will completely change the mobile and PND navigation market: Google announced Google Maps Navigation for Android 2.0 devices.
It features 3D views, turn-by-turn voice guidance and automatic rerouting, but unlike most navigation systems, the Navigation was built from the ground up to take advantage of the phone’s internet connection.
And so Google’s navigation comes with recent map and business data (phone automatically gets the most up-to-date maps and business listings from Google Maps), search by voice (speak your destination instead of typing), traffic view (live traffic data over the internet), search along route (searching for a specific business along the route), satellite view (the same satellite imagery as Google Maps on the desktop) and Street View (shows the turn as you’ll see it, with the route overlaid).
